What is IPO ? 

Full Forms:Intial Public Offering.

                    When company shares issued first time it's called IPO.

                                               Company jab first time apne share issued karti he usko IPO bola jata he.

For example: LIC.insurance company abhi tak stock market me listed nahi he.but ab company want to share issued , wo first time share issued karegi usko IPO bola jata he.

Types of IPO price issue :

IPO ki price issue company  two ways se  kar sakti he.

(1)Fixed Price issue: Investment bank company ki Asset and Liabilities check karke ek fix price issue karti he.

(2)Book Building Issue: sometime company and investment bank ek fix price IPO ki decide karti nahi he. to wo ek IPO price band  rakhte he.aur shareholders ko apply karne ke liye two price issue karte he .it's called  IPO price band. 

                     IPO price band in  IPO-UP-Price called Cap.price

                                            and  IPO-Lower price called Flour Price.

What is IPO Process  for Apply? 

company IPO me jitne shares issue karti he ,usse agar jyada application share buy karne ke liye aati he to all public ko firstly one-one lot distribute kiya jata  he. uske baad two lots valo ko diya jata he.. 

For example: jab Avenue supermart company ne uski brand D-Mart ka IPO-issue kiya tha . to usne two price IPO ki issue ki thi.  295 to 299 .  295 flour price thi and 299 cap.price thi. aur ye two price ka band ka distance 1% tha.but company  maximum 20% ka ipo-price band rakh sakti he.

jo shareholders 299 pe IPO-BUY karega usko shares distribution ke time first preference opportunities di jati he,iss liye usko share mil jane ki 100% probablity hoti he.       but jo shareholders 295 pe IPO-BUY karega usko shares distribution ke time last me share milte he,iss liye usko share mil jane ki probablity low raheti he. 299 valo ko first and 298 valo ko second and 297 valo ko third and 296 valo ko fourth  and 295 valo ko last me share milne ki probablity hoti he.

 second thing: D'mart ne jitne shares ka IPO-issued kiya tha,usse 100 multiple share-holders ne shares ke liye application apply kiya tha.

IPO-shares Distribution

  IPO-Issue total share ke 50% shares  institutional and mutual-fund ke liye hote he.

maximum 15% shares 2 lac se above ki capital valo ke liye hote he.

35% shares retailer public ke liye hote he.
